IM Browser Manual

Under construction ...

IM Browser is a web-based application designed to explore and visualize interaction data stored in an Oracle database. The tool connects to a database specified by the user and generates a graphical user interface that is simple and convenient enough to query the data without knowledge of SQL, yet powerful enough to provide access to all features of complex interaction data. Results of the queries are displayed as an interactive graph.

If you are not familiar with IM Browser at all, quick tutorial is a good place to start. It will take you less then 15 minutes to go over the tutorial and will give you an idea of how the IM Browser works.

If you experience problems with starting the IM Browser, please check Requirements page. An applet embedded in this page will identify the version of Java installed on your computer as well as will test if your browser allows applets.

Please use the menu options on the left to navigate through this manual.

We appreciate your feedback. Please send comments or concerns about IM Browser to Lana Pacifico lpacifico(at)wayne.edu.
